Elfenstein is a stallion with an exqisite appearence and powerful, elastic movements who received the title of a premium stallion at his grading in Neumünster 2006.
He absolved his 70-day-test in Schlieckau in 2007. There he got the validation "10" for character and temperament.
Elfenstein was born and raised at Hans-Joachim Groß in the Erdmannshausen stud and had been based at his owners in the United Kingdom to 2008.
His sire is the Elite Stallion Hohenstein, who performed an incredible carrier in the sport and in the breed. Hohenstein had been in the premium lot of his grading at the Trakehner Hengstmarkt 1993. He was the reserve winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf 1994 with a total index of 134,05 Pts. and the best index for rideability with 148,29 Pts. In his offspring are many approved stallions, for instance the winner of the grading 1997, Münchhausen, who was successful in Grand Prix. Hohenstein became Elite stallion in 1999 and "Trakehner Stallion Of The Year" 2002. EH.Hohenstein had an important influence not only in the Trakehner breed but also in Oldenburg and Hannover. His son His Highness was the winner of the Hanoverian grading at Verden and had been sold in the United States for a top price of 515.000.- €.
Elfenstein originates from the highly successfull mother-line of the Etikette. His grandmother Eberesche is the mother of Elysee, who bred the stallions Exclusiv and Extravagant. The 3-star cross-country horse Eos ist from thris mare-line.
Graded for Trakehner, admitted for Rhineland und Westphalia
Elfenstein had been available at Webelsgrund Stud in 2009.
